The nearby village of Aston Cantlow is minutes away from the world famous Shakespearian town of Stratford upon Avon, Anne Hathaway's cottage and Mary Arden's House. All this is set in totally unspoilt rural countryside which boasts many noted stately homes, real old English pubs and other diversions.
Close to hand guests will find bridle paths with attractive walks, a nearby golf course together with many first class local restaurants and interesting public houses. And, of course, beauty treatment for the ladies is available in Alcester and Stratford upon Avon if desired.

The cottage is in an excellent location, only 20 minutes from Birmingham International Airport, 10 minutes from the motorway network and a stone's throw from Shakespeare's Stratford. The area offers a variety of international cuisine, golf courses, fishing, walks and many other historical attractions.

Transport connections are near at hand with the M6, M5, M1, M40 and M42 motorways together with Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham International Railway Station.
Wootton Wawen is situated between Henley in Arden and Stratford-upon-Avon on the main A3400. On approaching Wootton Wawen from Birmingham the road forms a dual carriageway and you will see the 'Bulls Head' which is a black and white public house on your right. At this point turn right across the dual carriageway following the signs for Great Alne on the B4089. Approximately a 1/4 mile along this road take the second left turning which is signposted to Great Alne. Continue up the hill and over the railway bridge, passing the church on the right hand side, continue for 1/2 mile till you come to the only white thatched cottage to be seen on your left. The entrance to Piggery Cottages is immediately alongside.
